Agreed, though The Apostasy was a pretty good album. The only song on Evangelion worth mentioning is "Ov Fire And The Void" which is easily one of their best songs, but everything else pales in comparison.

To be honest, I really enjoyed the new Insomnium. It took me a couple listens, and the clean vocals still aren't as enjoyable as they could be, but overall it's got the Insomnium sound and is a good album. Of course, it doesn't triumph over Above The Weeping World :P

Anyone else excited for the new Swallow The Sun album? I for one, think it's going to be better than all of their previous efforts. Today their new mini-site went online which contains clips from each track on the new album, all of which sound amazing. Check it out here...

Yep, definitely an improvement over The Call Of The Wretched Sea, which I honestly didn't think was very possible. While nowhere near as heavy, it's easily much better. Love the title track so much.

I must have listened to the new song about 8 times yesterday, and I'm ready to listen to it again. Such an amazing song, and I am damn sure the rest of the album will be just as good.
