I think Novembre's lyrics are good, but I prefer Opeth's lyrics and Agalloch's lyrics. Carmelo Orlando definately has his own style of writing, in which he makes strong use of imagery, but his lyrics have a different vibe to Opeth's and Agalloch's. I guess they are less bleak and sorrowful. I...

I highly recommend the Dutch death metal band Detonation. Particularly their most recent album "An Epic Defiance". It is one killer album from start to finish. Great vocals, leads, riffs, melodies, lyrics, drums, ...the works. Their new album "Portals To Uphobia" is set to be good as well...

NEST is great! I've only heard "Woodsmoke" but it is an excellent album. Has some great artwork as well. @LaurieAnnHaus: Do you plan to release a new album sometime soon (perhaps late 2005)? How many members are in the band now?
