    aah I see. That only works provided that the microphone is equidistant from the speakers, so that the sound of each speaker reaches the mic at the same time. With a highly directional mic like a 57 or 58, if you get far enough away and monitor at a reasonable level the bleed shouldn't be too...

    Why not reverse the phase of the vocals after they have been recorded? Doesn't the same end result occur? Seems like this would be easier.

    Sure! I programmed all the drums using Superior 2.0 with the stock kit, but I replaced the kick and the snare. I think the kick was a Sneap, and the snare I blended with a sample I from a Def Leppard song (Rock of Ages i think?). I wanted to get that real deep "Pstcht" sort of vibe. I'm a...
