Wasn't that exacly what I was saying? SR is a great album, but Amon Amarth have done much better IMO.

I immediately thought it was Messiah, and since he did do guest vocals for "Hel" I think we're on to something. ;) Didn't really care for the "Under the Influence" EP though.

Loving this album, Surtur Rising was just "so-so" by AA standards (specially considering how awesome the 2 previous albums where). But I think this album will rank among my favorites, really loving "As Loke Falls", "Under Siege", "We Shall Destroy" and "Warriors Of The North".

Death In Fire + The Stabwounds In Our Backs, best 2 opening/back to back songs in any AA album IMO. Both are in my top 5 AA songs.

Yeah, like I said in a previous post a song or two from him would have really elevated this album. His songs always smokes IMO.

The title-track and "Tales of Thy Spineless" still holds up pretty high for me, but tracks like "The Eye", "44" and "The Return" have really been grabbing me lately, really hard to chose 1 or 2 favorites so im glad this poll have multible choises.
