Usually it's like 3db up or down for either on/off axis, whichever sounds best at the moment. Like Crille said it's all summed on aux-tracks in PT.* Thanks a lot for the positive comments on the gtr-sound and mix, Fred is of course a big part of the production and sound as well.*

The 57:s are on the same speaker, normal on/off axis "Fredman style" The Peluso is positioned straight into a different speaker next to the 57:s. It´s a bit hard to say how loud the peluso is in the mix, cause all 3 mics are summed during the recording into one track, and the 2 other 57:s of...

Ooops, forgot to say that I sneaked in a Peluso 2247LE mic as well, together with the 57:s on the Marshall cab.

There´s also a lot of good sound comming from Dan Browns (guitar) right hand ;)

Hi crille and everyone else! I´m really glad to hear that you like the sound of the new confession. It´s not one of my favorite tracks on the album but still good. I mixed and mastered both the confession album and the Buried in Verona album. It´s not too fun for me when people always see it...

This won´t help much but, Can´t say that I´ve done a fair comparison between them, cause I never put Phoenix on every channel in a mix. Just used Phoenix on separate stuff that needed a bit more balls. Don´t use the Phoenix much anymore tho, just the heat on everything cause it´s so damn...

Nah, the white caparison was never played on the album. We used Lee´s first act guitar with thick 0.80 E-string. http://www.firstact.com/Artists/Lee_Malia.aspx And yes it is a bit dirtier sounding then Suicide Season.
