    Actually, I'll be honest, I think Labrie did an ok job. Not an amazing job, but still pretty good. Parts of songs he did well. The Count of Tuscany could have been done better by someone with a more powerful voice, but I thought he did A Nightmare To Remember pretty well.

    Finally got this album last night. Basically, I like a lot of it, but not all of it stands out to me. The only 2 things that didn't leave me all like =O were A Rite of Passage and Wither. Everything else really impressed me, especially The Count of Tuscany. That song strikes me as King Crimson...

    I'll judge how I feel about this topic after the next album. I thought Paradise Lost was really really good, but it wasn't as good as V. But it was still better than the Odyssey in my opinion. If their next album isn't as good as say.. Twilight, then I'll agree that maybe they're coming down...

    HAH!! You're wrong. I bought my 7 string Ibanez used from Guitar Center for $300, and it plays amazing. For $300, it had a vintage version of the Ibanez tremolo (which feels better than the new one imo), a kill switch (that's not grounded properly :p) and it already had Dimarzio pickups in it...

    If you can get through the production and vocals, I kinda think some of the songs are pretty cool. Raging Seasons, Absinthe and Rue, A Lesson Before Dying, ehh.... Yeah, I guess those are the only ones that I can really listen to off that album at all.

    Yes - Yours Is No Disgrace I might cover this when I get ProTools... metal it out a little. Not too much. Just do it with more modern sounding instrument tones, like metal high gain distorted guitars, maybe a cooler synthesizer sound... but I need to find a real Hammond B3. ><
