I have eight songs that need velocity editing for an album. They were fine until I switched to Made Of Metal. I went in and reduced the velocity to make them less oppressive, and I just dont have the time. Its hard to do anything with a three year old crawling all over you. Its pointless...

Yeah, im having to fiddle with stuff a lot. Massive rumbly drums, and offset blast beats dont mix. The cymbal grabs are too slow for me. The ride gets eaten by the rooms and sound distant. Also, the presets were a horrible starting point. Not very ez.

Yeah, but I own superior and Ezdrummer 1. Id like to just own the cheaper one and be able to use it in SD2. :heh: It only says its compatible with EzD2

The only time that I've ever used their midi is figuring out velocities. I just recently updated my version of Windows. And if this really is worth it, id float the cash to get this Ezx. I like metal machine but the toms are too triggery, and the velocities are ridiculous to work with...

Is this straight up Ezdrummer with no post processing? That snare is huge! The thing I hate the most is always the weak dinky rides, and kicks. I also dont have Ezdrummer 2. This might make me rethink it.

Thanks, ill dig around. I finally just froze my drums tracks down, and got rid of any Fx I could. Vocals went ok. A little bit of stuttering. Got all the main tracks before my voice had enough. Thanks guys fer your help.

The disc was making me back up all my shit on another drive, or discs. So, I never did it. Im too lazy to go buy an external hard drive.

Yep. I was given the free upgrade to 7. Just never did it, and eventually lost the disc.

Im using ASIO on my computer, and not the Fast-track as my soundcard. The Fast-track acts weird on Vista. I guess I could try using the line mix knob and turning live monitoring off for vocals. Thus not worrying about the latency too much. The only effects I currently have running are passes...

I currently have it sitting at 521. I use 416 usually when tracking. Its not great on the latency, but its trackable, and doesnt stutter. I do like to hear myself when I track vocals. Low in the mix so I push harder.
