    I'm missing out on some good shows in september as I'm going to central Europe. And I'm missing all th festivals there too. -.- last show I went to was Nile a couple of weeks back. Music was good but the performance was quite shocking.

    Irminsul are good. I recently downloaded a Skyforger cd. Wasn't too bad. But it's like Svartsot. One flute sounding instrument and that's about it. Seems like that's all you need to qualify for a folk band. That Russian band fronted by a female Arcona? They're not bad at all.

    I've never gotten anything interesting from band members but I'm a magnet for people shoes I swear. Also once at a Carcass gig a couple of years ago I caught a water bottle from the red head. I wouldn't have bothered but it was screaming towards my face at pace. I still have it in the cupboard...

    The new Amon Amarth Sound.

    I don't mind the sound of the newer stuff, it's the lyrics that, to me anyway, need to be addressed, if anything. They've seemed to have lost some aggression over time, toned down? What I'd like to hear more of is stuff like Lokes Treachery and other saga tales.
