I'm 17 and I don't consider myself a metalhead because I'm just a fan of a few metal bands. My favorites are Nightwish, Slipknot, and some from the hated deathcore category such as Suicide Silence and Chelsea Grin.
I listen to alternative rock, mostly, and my favorite band ever is My Chemical Romance. I don't care if I get dismissed as an emo fag for this, it's the truth. They made me happier during my hellish junior year of high school.
So since I'm not really a metalhead I'm mostly here to discover more metal bands I might like and maybe talk about deathcore with others who enjoy it.
