This online activation thing is really becoming an issue. Windows has released several updates which deactivate Spark and require reactivation just because you updated Windows. Is there a way to reset my activations?

I own every Mercuriall plugin and I'll certainly be buying the ReAxis :) Quick question, the new Windows Update erased my serial keys from both U530 and Spark and I had to re-activate them, wasting an activation. I've still got a couple left on each but can wasted activations be replenished...

I wouldn't do the Kemper unless you sold the entire rig or weren't using it for a very long time - if you are or can fork out the dough, it's probably the most elegant solution. I think the Two Notes is a good but rather expensive option, and an "old school" guy like you may be less than...

I own Thermionik 5 and found it generally lacking. The cleans are absolutely horrific. I like Amplitube but you have to be a knob tinkerer to get great tone out of it. That said, it is absolutely capable and comes with a lot stuff like a harmonizer etc. Personally I'm an S-Gear or Mercuriall...

I can confirm a RTL tone can be achieved very easily with Spark.

You're willing to spend 300-400 what? Pounds? Lira? Baht? Yen? In either case, here's some starting points for stuff which is good and not a gimmick product: Mercuriall, Scuffham S-Gear, Amplitube.

Spark is head and shoulders above the U530 and anything else out there at the moment, and I thought that was extremely good back when it came out. Spark reacts so much like a real amp, very touch and dynamic sensitive and sounds good right out of the box. I love the pre-EQ'd cabs, saves me so...

Well, Amplitube, BIAS, Revalver, TH3 etc. have been developed by huge teams (who have salaries and mouths to feed) and have a proven track record - they're meant to be the $5k amps if anything. If they're asking for $120 for a whole suite of amplifiers, pedals, cabinets etc. and another...

I think your price point is crazy la-la-land type stuff and makes me think your marketing team is (a) on drugs (b) wants to be on drugs. For around your price point of $120, you can purchase an entire suite of amp simulation software. For example, Revalver 4 Producer Pack $70, BIAS Amp Pro $60...

It sounds quite average at the moment. Come to think of it, Scuffham's S-Gear craps all over that clean sound. The crunch and high gain sounds are going to be the deciding factor. I own the U530 and it's quite good so I'm expecting this to be as good if not better emulation.

To be honest, it's pretty pricy for what it is. It's an Indonesia made mahogany guitar with a flame maple top/veneer and average pickups (DiMarzio Fusion Edge). Quick update. I spent the weekend setting the guitar up and playing it a bit more. I can now safely say this is an incredible guitar - the pickups sounded muddy because the pickup height was way off. As soon as I lowered them slightly the crunch came through and it stopped pushing my inputs...
