Allround Guitar for Recording
Yeah, that's what I've been thinking too. The Ken Susi model (KS-7) has an Evertune, and will be upgraded this year with Fishman Fluence pickups, which have both active and passive voicings at the push of a button. Looks like a strong choice for me. -

Acoustic-electric guitar, suggestions?
Eastman Guitars. I spent a Saturday morning at Guitar Center, disappointed at everything I grabbed, even stuff above my budget. I then went to a smaller mom & pop store in the afternoon, and was blown away when I tried the Eastman. -
My first master keyboard
I would wait for the new Alesis V and VI series. They look pretty slick and should be coming out pretty soon. -

Question for Komplete Users
They have summer and winter sales, where it's 50% off. Some sales seasons are for upgrades only, and others are for full product. I think they've become a bit more unpredictable since the last Komplete release came behind schedule... -
