Savillerow(helios console) is by far my favorite to track with on heavy rythms. It works really with my 6505/Splawn 4/12 set up. Other then that its the class a(Neve) I use tranny(api) a lot on vocals and drum overheads.

10 minutes. strung stretched and tuned. Well maybe a little longer for fully stretched but with my Carvins its the quickest its ever been. Helps allot that they have sperzal locking tuners as well.

I agree that the Gtr's are very overpowering. And I would consider taking those kick burst down a note. So depending on your tempo if that run is a 16th I would drop it down to an 8th notes. It could also be how fast you have your kick comp at making those kicks sound funky. Other then that...
