Mine would have to be: Irepress Control Denied King Diamond Exivious ISIS

I'd say Jazz (Fusion, Bebop, Smooth, Traditional, etc.), Prog rock, Punk and it's subgenres, Ambient, Classical, and Shoegaze would probably be the easiest for a metalhead to get into but that's just going from my tastes. There is some awesome Pop and Bluegrass/Country music though.

SO fucking glad people know of this band. King of the Dead is another great disc by them. I own this weird best of disc by them and it has some new versions of a couple songs on it (namely Chaos Rising, Blood and Iron, and a few others). I remember when I was like 6 years old jamming these tunes...

This is sweet! Awesome and easy intro to Indian music with the ragas/chakras. I bet anyone who isn't even remotely versed in theory could pick this up.
