Picked up the Audix D6 a couple weeks ago... This mic is THE SHIT for kick drum! did a test against D112, Re20, md421, ATM250(all that was available) Totally walks all over all of them I recommend this mic to any one!best mic iv ever bought (can post clips in a few days if anyone wants)

could even throw some side stick hits (rim Shots) to give it more bite i guess.
