I think automation would do the trick after recording, but before it you could change some coated strings (Elixir?) on your guitar or use GHS Fast Fret on the strings. Those could minimize or at least reduce the squeaks a little.

I think the raw guitar sounds OK, but it's a bit weak on the volume. Maybe you could adjust recording input so that you would get more volume on the DI-track. I haven't used Legion in ages so I don't remember my settings at all, but looking from your screenshot and the tutorial video it seems...

I had a 333XL too and I liked it. The construction didn't feel very sturdy, but luckily I didn't have any problems with the amp. The master volume (at least on my amp) worked strangely because everything over 8:30 - 9:00 o'clock was a huge overkill even if the crunch or lead channel volumes were...
