Very nice, also cool it has a khaler nut. This should be poplar, they didn't start using alder till the mid or late 90s I believe. I have a 1990 Rhoads Pro and it's top notch. Definitely on par (if not nicer) than most USA Jackson's I've played.

check out god cabs. He has a mesa oversized pack that's pretty damn good. My problem is that redwirez, ownhammer, god cab... all sound very different even with the same cab and mic. It's good if you want different sounds but if you want accurate simulations then it's hard to know which sounds...

I've been messing with the CK EQ idea the past few days and it's pretty cool. Interface-less at the moment so I'm just going line in to the computer, but still it's not half bad. Also having to use garageband so with ozone le456 there's a bit of latency. Won't cure the gas for an uberschall...

Also, not a big difference but that's the 11 plugin, not the 11 rack. Same tones but having the dedicated interface with the tru-z input would possible make it better. That and I'm sure there's TONS of outboard gear they used.

If you want to know how the Mesa Mark's sound listen to MOP and AJFA by MetallicA. There was some studio magic but a live Mark IIC+, III, IV, studio preamp, quad preamp... are damn near dead on. In a modern setting you can always take a listen to Lamb Of God but I'm not a fan of that tone so...
