Ross did a video that states it was named Virus long before this - they filmed the video a while ago and the music was written at the same time as Vector. But man, creepy coincidence for sure!

The interesting part of this list every year is what didn't make it. Arch/Mathoes, Leprous, Tool (ha), Paladin, Bent Knee being the biggest of those misses. I know it's your personal list and not questioning it, but would love to know why some albums didn't make it if you are so willing.

interesting lists as mine is totally different: 1. Tie between Redemption and Voyager - The Ray and Chris guest spots were amazing, they band sounded great, and I think Tom's voice works better live than recorded. And Voyager was the best sounding band of all 4 days - that sound was so clear...

I have to agree, Voyager kicked ass. They blew the other four bands off the stage and their sound was one of the best sounds I have ever heard at Center Stage, minus what Shattered Fortress did last year

Colors was a highlight for me - what an amazing set and album. Was so happy to see BTBAM experience ProgPower
