Okay, Scott and Charlie are fanboys/nerds, but their jumping onto trends can seem opportunistic and inauthentic. Just get the drum tracks recorded and the album released guys.

Or two versions of the list, one where each band can only have one album listed and another where multiple albums are allowed. Band A's second best album may be better than band B's.

This. Kill 'em All was the fastest and heaviest at that time. Show No Mercy is very Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Then Ride the Lightning was a massive step forward from Kill 'em All. As you say they did Fade to Black, whereas Exodus were proudly proclaiming "four albums, no ballad"...

Can't see Joey hitting the Geddy Lee register in Anthem, but equally John Bush wouldn't have (and Lee himself probably cannot now). Similarly Anthrax don't seem a twin guitar attack band in the Lizzy mould for Jailbreak.

Not a fan of Stomp 442 - it seems a bit one-dimensional to me and I struggle to get through the entire CD. I prefer Volume 8 and the opening one-two of Crush and Catharsis.

IMO that would be cool. He and Anthrax do have a history through working together on the Ghosts of Mars soundtrack.

If Scott and Charlie had treated Paul properly back in the day - Stomp 442 and Volume 8 - they could have had a great guitarist as part of their band rather than just a hired gun.
