    Cloned EP

Have you guys ever thought of making the Cloned EP a free download on your site? I have a copy, but I don't know how easy it is to get one these days. Congrats on the new Heathen record Kragen, it sounds amazing. I've been a fan of theirs ever since I ordered their Pray For Death demo out of...

    May 26th NYC Show

As far as the Madonna thing goes I believe this show was scheduled for the smaller room to begin with. In fact I heard that SHE wanted to be in the smaller room but Opeth already had it booked.

    Mikael Akerfeldt's favorite musicians

Too bad Michael Hedges passed away so young. He was frighteningly talented. He actually dropped out of the Baltimore Conservatory of Music because he couldn't play his compositions using the techniques they were teaching him.

    May 26th NYC Show

Rumor has it that Madonna was using the Hammerstein Ballroom downstairs. Not sure if she was rehearsing, recording or what. From where I was standing in the back the sound was VERY muddy for all of Enslaved and the first 2-3 Opeth tunes. One of the Sound engineers kept coming down to stand...

    Favourite Opeth Quote

"Chicago...wow. I remember last year when we were going to Milwaukee we drove past Chicago and I said 'it would be cool...to play Chicago' and now here we are...playing Chicago."

Harrison Vs. Lopez...common, you knew it was coming

I'm no drumming expert but I see Martin as having more Intensity and Gavin as having more Precision...then again that may just be due to their bands. Switch 'em up and let's hear how they do in each others' bands...

opeth has signed with roadrunner now!

I could care less what label they're on as long as they make an album that they're happy with. And according to Mike on the Porcupine Tree tour, "the next record...will be the most Bruuutal thing you have EVER heard."

    Any theories?

    People are stupid.

    Opeth on Roadrunner?

Having a band like Nickelback just brings in more money for the label to spend on other bands...it's a good thing.

    Porcupine Tree -Deadwing review

BurningSky...I work in the music business and got an advance copy from the record label. I won't be leaking it though, sorry. Besides, it's copy protected and I'm not smart enough to get around it...

    *Recording Update*

Let it rip guys...and don't forget what you told us on the Damnation tour. "The next record is going to be the most fucking brutal thing you have ever heard in your life."
