It's alright, I first, powered everything off, rebooted everything, and nothing, so I updated to the most recent driver, and it kinda worked for a split second, and then crapped out again.
Hey guys, I just started using the pro 40 with Reaper and it was working great until now. It's cracking up and cutting out really bad all of a sudden. I've set the latency to longest and the buffer to the highest as well. Nothing seams to work, any ideas?
What are you're opinions on iMacs? Either the newer models with an i5 or the older dual core ones, what do you guys think about them for music production?
Hahaha. You're not going to respond to my question, I honestly don't know why you're here.
I'll let you know how it goes, pal.
Thanks man, this is much better. I was considering doing that, but do you think having a center lead track through out most of the song would get monotonous compared...
Lol, wow. Guys... All I was asking was how to approach recording a guitarist with this style, hybrid picking, and playing rhythms/leads simultaneously.
And yes, I'm still going to do it.
I come to you guys for advice or different perspectives on recording.
And I expect constructive...
Gah, should not have mentioned Tosin.... What I meant, was he does a lot of hybrid picking and what not. And don't trip, that's just a practice amp, clearly, haha.
I was hoping you guys should give me pointers on how to record this type of guitarist, not nitpick his play through of the song.
So, the guitarist for a band I just joined, plays leads and rhythms at the same time over an 8-string. Kinda like Tosin Abasi, I guess. They don't have solid recordings, so I offered to re-vamp some songs, and track a new one.
This may sound like a dumb question:
Should I double track...
Tracked this demo clip for my friends band. Maybe it's just me, but I'm hearing this unwanted air-y, tube-y, fizz sound in the guitars.
How can I get a tighter guitar tone? Thanks!

Haha thanks, My rhythm guitar chain is PodFarm>Eq>MixIR2 cab impulses>C4> tiny bit more EQ > panned 92% to respective side
Bring them down entirely? I think definitely starting to hear the kick a little loud. Small boost around 200- 300 hz or?
Thanks
Thanks man! The pretty part was pretty wet, but the lead rhythms have a slight reverb, and I'm trying to get some clarity during those parts, not sure which way to go about it.
