i love orchid and i think its one of their greatest, but im pretty sick of it already -- i bet opeth are as well.

damnation has a prog rock feel while their earlier stuff has a medieval minstrel feel

if you listen to something enough times it loses all its meaning; you become bored with the material and it loses its replay value.

morningrise is the second most mellow album to date (right under damnation), so i really dont see what you are talking about. I wish they would start mellowing out a bit more and add a lot more of those awesome acoustic passages that are riddled throughout morningrise -- orchid, even.
