Ahh you squishing it big style I see! I tend to use little amounts and saturation and distortion for the rest. Honestly use thats distortion in little bits in different ways. My mix was only thrown together quick, no reverb on vox for example but it could do with some.

Boss reverb on the snare :-) Joking aside its cool just back of the reverb for a more modern mix.

The other 2 mixes are not bad at all, I just prefer to smooth over the mids more and aim for a tad more bass, but honestly guys they are not bad just bring the vox up more!

Yea it works well. Make sure to use the l3 Multi it works better (I find) you dont really need to mess with the frequencies just tap it down with the threshold.

My point about Limiting is not to be afraid to use what you like on the master bus - if you mix a snare into it and it sounds compressed and you like it, when you send the mixes to a mastering engineer - both with for reference and without, if your snare is loud he can hear why from your master...

WEll.... thats cool.... I know one of my fav mixers users L3 multi and l2 and it works great but he takes it of for mastering. better too much than not enough i say!

But.... You can mix into one and then just take it of at the end maybe give the mastering engineer a copy with your limiter on to hear your intention?
