They run a track for all FX, they took the CD at a super high bit rate cut the vox, guitars, bass and drums. Left in the massive snare hits, drops everything. Keyboard player does nothing, trust me I watched them.

Its not the actual beat thats hard to do, it IS the fills and humanization. I know that to an extent it WILL sound programmed i'm just trying to limit that. Can I just throw those in and move the notes around? I know that EZdrummers midi map is different then SSD. Im very interested in that pack.
I program my drums using Guitar Pro and import into Reaper and sample it out using SSD. All the blast beats I program in sound sterile and void of life. I need to either get better at programming in velocities and such or find some midi loops I can purchase.

Funny you mention "JS: IX/Midi_Keymap". I tried that, set note in to 52, set note out to 30 changing Guitar Pro China to SSD China. I hit play and it RESETS the note out back to 52. WTF. It seems the only things that are off are my splash and china.
