    Anyone like Post-Rock?

They are one of my favorite bands. The Fall of Math and One Time for All Time are both great albums. Some other bands that are worth looking into in the Post-Rock genre are (some of these may have been mentioned already): Upcdowncleftcrightcabc+Start, A Silver Mt. Zion, The Samuel Jackson Five...

Nasum is one of my favorite bands.

what are you listening to right now?

I have really got to pick that up sometime. Nasum is easily one of my favorite bands. Anyway, I'm listening to Zombi - Surface to Air.

    Radio Station Thread

www.blackmetalradio.com has some good stuff on it. And it isn't all Black Metal as one would be led to believe by the name of the site.

What Music Have You Bought Recently?

Sounds good. I'll have to look into Cosmos and the EP.

What Music Have You Bought Recently?

I just bought that album a couple days ago (at the Relapse retail store actually). I really like it. Have you heard their other album (Cosmos)? If so, is it worth looking into? Also, today I finally got David Gilmour - On An Island.

    25 Most Important METAL bands

I don't want to start an argument...but in your post you seem to invalidate, in passing, your own reasoning as to why Carcass makes the list over Napalm Death. Ok, I'll stop harping on the Napalm Death thing now. It's really not important...and btw, it's not that I don't like Carcass. I love...

    Bass solos

The album "Epitaph" by Necrophagist has what could be considered bass "solos" multiple times throughout. I don't recall exactly where at the moment but get the album anyway. It's worth it.

    25 MOST IMPORTANT BANDS EVER

. I'm not really sure that they are worthy of the particular spot that kerrang gives them on their list...but on the other hand a lot of the list is crap and kerrang generally has no idea what it is talking about. In either case, I think that Fugazi does have a place on a list like this, given...

    Pimk Floyd

Pink Floyd is quite awesome. Easily one of the best bands ever. Animals is one of my all-time favorite albums...as you can probably tell from my signature.

    Punk is dead

I would just like to add Bad Brains to the list of good punk bands due to the fact that they were simply awesome. On another note, I was listening to fugazi about an hour or so ago. Good stuff.

    Modest Mouse

I enjoy some of their stuff. Not a big fan of the newer album except for "Float On" although the excessive radio play effectively killed that song. I do enjoy "The Moon and Antarctica" quite a bit though.

    25 Most Important METAL bands

I think it is a bit of an over statement to say that Carcass' grindocre stuff is more important than Napalm Death's when Napalm Death essentially created the genre. Arguably, Napalm Death's album Scum was the first grindcore album to be made. P.S. Hey all, this is my first post over in this...

what are you listening to right now?

Go Red Sox!!! I'm from Philly, yet I'm a die hard Red Sox fan. NP: Akercocke - Words That Go Unspoken, Deeds That Go Undone - Shelter From The Sand

    Best Floyd?

Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and Animals. Can't really choose a favorite out of the three.
