the of sins and shadows choir section seems to be sampled right from the studio recordings. So when they come to that part of the song, Pinella hits a specific key on one of his keyboards, and the choirs are coming from a sampler...at least I do think so ;-)

Only the snare was triggered (perhaps the base drum too, but no toms) And ist wasn´t Mike´s Idea, but the producers said they would get a clearer sound.

Ok...Session-musicians: The Drummer on the last Rhapsody Albums is called thunderforce or with his real name "Robert Hunecke-Rizzo". He´s a good friend of Sascha Paeth and played Drums and even some rhythm guitars on both Luca Turilli Solo-Albums. About the triggered drums: Many Metal Drums...

I like Yngwie`s: There was another group there called "Foo Fighters". Are they influenced by Nirvana? Two things about that: 1. I thought Yngwie doesn´t listen to other Bands 2. Of course they're influenced by Nirvana, since the Nirvana Drummer plays Guitar and does the vocals :-)

Normally I use a Pick for playing...but sometimes also 2 and 3 Finger-technique.....for Tappings all 4 Fingers....

Got II=I yesterday...and now I´m finding my way through the material.....really like their stuff.

I went to the concert in nürnberg (21.4.)...all 3 Bands had a very good live-sound. The Sound of the first band (thunderstone) was a bit muddy at first, but you still could hear all individual instruments. SyX`s sound was very clear, awesome Drumsound, volume was ok. Strato´s sound was even...

You can´t create such a killer DrumSound with only two mics....impossible.... I think Redelijk knows this too well ;-)

Shit man...that sucks.... The same thing happend to Joe Satriani on this year´s summer tour: Someone stole one of his ChromeBoy-guitars, in fact it was his main guitar...so there´s a reward for the guitar but he has it not back yet....
