I can kind of see the Pink Floyd in some of the guitar melodies (Still Life and after) and in the E-bow stuff they do. Some of it is pretty Gilour-ish.

Whenever I have a riff all by itself I always just play it in my head during the day and try to come up with a part to go with it or after it and then figure it out on my guitar. Or I'll just jam on the riff and try different things to fcome after it.
