The thing is I want to actually learn how to mix bass rather than just use samples... plus I don't have the money to throw at samples and stuff.

Downloaded the pack a few days ago. Thanks a lot man! haven't had a chance to use them for anything yet, but I expect they'll be great :)

In my own very basic experience, drums first works better for me because my band uses some sections the guitar rhythm follows the kick rhythm, and so this gives me messy results when guitars are done first. It may work fine in other situations though.

New to these forums except for browsing, but as far as I can tell this is where I should post this. I'm starting to do the production for my band, but at the moment have no clue about recording/mixing bass. I was wondering if people could watch this video (you might get a couple of laughs...
