Caleb did an interview about his production awhile back where he mentioned using his own samples. I don't recall him saying anything about real amps on this record, but I do know he reamped the guitars on the new My Ticket Home album, so it wouldn't surprise me if he did.
It's only a small part of it, but I recorded all of this earlier today, and was curious to find out what you people think of it, and what I can possibly do better.
Decided to post what I came up with to possibly get tips on how I could do it better, because I'm sure there are a 1000 things I could do differently.
I usually dabble in instrumental music, and I'm not really sure how to do vocals, so I left them out of this. Though I may come back to that at...
When I was listening this morning, it almost sounded as if I was listening to vst guitar that was ran through an amp sim. I guess that's just super tight playing! :p
I do wish I could come up with something better guitar wise, but I haven't really been able to come up with something I liked that didn't sound like the typical tone people seem to use here. >_>
