Lasse Lammert Rig Pack for Kemper

Great pack. Thank you Lasse. Could someone clarify something for me though? A distortion pedal was used while making most of the profiles, but as I scroll through them, it appears to be off (greyed out) by default. Is this correct? Thanks, Matt

    James LaBrie - Impermanent Resonance

Drop G played on a 7 string baritone on the majority of the tracks. One is in drop C and I think there might be two that are in standard tuning on a 7 string. Cheers, Matt

    New Labrie - Agony

Hi Tony. Thanks! There is some cool footage of drum and guitar tracking. This time, only the drums were recorded in Sweden. Btw... Last time we were there, the studio was called Studiomega and was a partner studio for Fascination Street. Since then, Jens has taken it over and upgraded it...

    New Labrie - Agony

The last record we did, I believe Marco's rhythm tone was a blend of Engl Fireball and a Boogie Dual Rectifier. For the new record, Marco recorded all the guitars (except for leads) through his Axe FX but we ended up having Jens re-amp everything in Örebro before the mix. I'm not sure what he...

Hi. I wrote most of the record and produced it as well. Very happy with the way it came out. I think Jens did a fantastic job. He's always a pleasure to work with! Cheers, Matt

    Editing guitars in your DAW.

Yes. That's exactly what I meant. How do you edit the tail end of each note/chord?

    Editing guitars in your DAW.

What about recording the guitar to the click at half tempo for riffs/chords and then slip editing them to grid? Has anyone tried his? If anyone does this, please share the details of your workflow.

    Slip Editing Guitar Tutorials?

Hi. I was wondering if there are any video tutorials on half speed recording and slip editing DI guitar (ala joey sturgis) and other editing techniques related to getting tight/clean sounding guitar tracks. Thanks in advance.
