But people still have the right to like that form of music. The wankfests were just bonus moments for me. I enjoyed the slow ballads, and Labries moments. It's possible to like their album without just thinking about the moments where they want to add technical skill.

It's also one of the reasons people like them. 2 sides to every opinion. I personally really like the album. I don't understand the James Labrie hate.

I found Symphony X because a website told me they were like Kamelot.

Dehumanized is actually one of my favorites from the album... The only song that hasn't caught my interest yet is probably Lords of Chaos.

Electric Messiah and Prometheus are starting to grow on me.

I feel like I would enjoy the album so much more if I spent a few hours mapping out a story for it.

Not sure how the unedited version was, but I enjoyed that.

At the moment, I am loving Iconoclast, Dehumanized, When All is Lost, and Reign in Madness the most. Is it a coincidence that they are all longer songs? Voted Reign in Madness mainly for the interesting intro and Pinella.

The news saddens me, but I am looking forward to see if Dt goes back to a more progressive feel.

I am a fan of both Symphony X and Dream Theater. Is there really a problem with Dt's shredding? I enjoy it. Doesn't mean they're better than Sx or that Sx is better than Dt. Even though I prefer Allen over Labrie, Labrie is still an amazing vocalist. P.s I Enjoyed Systematic Chaos much more...
