Sure, and I use Ownhammer IRs for a number of other amps and patches. I just think the 5150 is well matched with this combo, and the HD500 only had a "Uber" cab model which supposedly incorporated both speakers, and it didn't have a Heil PR30 mic option, nor the option to move it further away...

That's not my experience with it at all. I've had it for a little over a week now, and I started getting great high-gain tones pretty much instantly. Here's a clip featuring the 5150 model: Factory cabs too, in case you were wondering.

I liked and still do really like TH2. I appreciate them adding some "boo-teek" heads and pedals from Brunetti, but what really would interest me is if they have new Randall amps besides the ancient T2. I'm thinking 667, Satan, Thrasher...even the George Lynch Headhunter and Nuno Bettencourt NB...

I think people are going more for their isolated tones they do themselves in their YouTube videos. It's not like Jeff Merrow has a huge discography for people to glom off of. But the man knows how to get great tones. As for the overall value, I have pretty much all the EZMix "metal-oriented"...

That would be amazing! It's still probably the most "complete" of the amp/fx suites out there, and I loved them having non-traditional heads modeled like the Lynch Box and modules. If they could get some of the contemporary Randall models like the Thrasher, 667 or Satan officially licensed...

You might get better amp modeling results with one model - say the TSE X50 v2 vs the Helix "Panama" model. Are you going to get better results if you want to use a Klon Centaur or fuzz pedal? Nope. Are you going to get better results if you want a Shimmer/Particle Verb for an ambient section...
