Yeah, its not totally necessary to have a sub with them, but it helped ME a lot with my mixes especially because I have no big full range Mains. You have to set the woofer up right, as I said before. It's just a little extender to the lows. hmm, you should check on as many systems as possible...

Yeah, just as 26 posted, it is an synonym for death. Was used a lot in old literature. I think the Austrian term is something like "Knochenkarl". :loco:
