You know, it's funny because I was about to write about Freedom Call. I am not as into the power/progressive metal scene as a lot of my friends are, so I am still discovering bands. I saw "Live Invasion" yesterday for a good price, and since I liked your work with Symphorce, I checked it out...

I personally think that Judas Priest is the most influential heavy metal band of all time, regardless of subgenre. You can hear the roots of speed, power, pop, and prog metal in their albums.

In that case I'll have to find a spot for "Whispers in Rage" on my list ;)

I think that Basil Pouledouris' soundtrack to "Conan the Barbarian" is one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time.

Like many of you, I was impressed both by Brainstorm's set as well as their personalities. I was only a little familiar with their music before the show, and knew nothing about Symphorce. After PPV, I saw several people wanting to see Symphorce at PPVI, if for nothing else to slip Andy back in...

I'll report any bootleggers I see next year just to preserve the coming-and-going privileges.

Yeah, Stuck Mojo was one of the few bands that was legitimately rap-metal, as opposed to rap-watered-down-Helmet.
