I highly discourage you from disconnecting 3 or your 4 speakers, if the noise is a serious issue go out and pick up a cheap 1x12 or make one. quads are acoustically designed to have 4 speakers running and the sound quality/tone will be fairly heavily affected if it isnt running all 4 speakers...
