    The Grand Conuration

I feel like i have heard those Opeth riffs before but its just so damn evil. Really like the song, the solo is great and Mikes vocals are some of the best death vocals i have heard him produce. Sure the ending goes on a bit but thats how the song just flows and i really enjoy the percussion...

    Sverige.

Just make sure you sufficient money as i hear they don't add VAT onto their products so its about £5 odd for a beer. Living in England i could get a quick flight or a ferry there easy but it would cost me way to much once there and i don't know a word of swedish at all (although i hear...

Lets have a pics thread :)

Drunk in the hills about a month ago. Im the guy in the opeth hoodie although it was taken a few years ago (large beard and tattoo's these day, well metal!) Edit : not quite sure how to make the photos actually show up on the forum so i guess you will have to click the link (if you...

Opeth at Bloodstock Open Air 2006?

That would be great and i imagen a fair few more people would attend this year. Only about 2000 people came last year although i had a great time (32 beers, some shots and a shit load of weed, good times). Really hope the rumours are true.

Opeth at Bloodstock Open Air 2006?

yep, i have heard the rumours aswell. BOA was great last year and if Opeth are playing i will be there in a second! Atheist aswell, this is going to be great. Last year Alexi from Children of Bodom said they would see us same time next year althought that just could just be random stage talk.

    Download 2006

I have heard on the Bloodstock forums talk about Opeth maybe doing the open air festival. If that was the case i would most likely just go to BOA and miss wacken. Couldn't really afford Wacken anyway being a very poor student and all.

    Black Rose Immortal

Cuntfaces name is very fitting. ah well, last time i saw opeth they played under a weeping moon which was great. Never expected an Orchid song with the new album.

Interview with Mikael and 2 Live songs from BBC

When sounds really good IMO. Love the ending although it does fade out for some reason. Mendez does some really nice fills aswell, good stuff.

    Dragonforce - Inhumane Rampage

Belive it or not but when i saw them there were quite a few really good looking women.... Why can't people have that option of having that kind of music available? Like i said before if i want emotion i have Opeth and Pink Floyed (aswell as many more) but if i want upbeat shredding i have...

what is the hardest heaviest, most brutal song you've heard?

Cryptopsy's Slit your guts is a good one. seeing them in a week i think, should be fun to see Lord Worm in action.

    Dragonforce - Inhumane Rampage

Well i had a mate up from London and we thought it would be a great idea to get pissed and stay up till 7am watching my music dvd collection. Woke up at 4pm very confused and hungover. A few moments during the opeth gig i thought i may actually throw up but i kept it down because im very metal...

    Dragonforce - Inhumane Rampage

Well i had gone through about two bottles of red wine and four pints of larger the night before so i could only drink pepsi and water to combat the extreme hangover i had. And yes gig prices are pretty fucking ridiculous.

    Dragonforce - Inhumane Rampage

Yep and it was my mate who named some of the other members of Europe. Great atmosphere and fun gig although £3.50 for a pint was shocking!

What Bands Do You Wish You Could Have Seen Live

Pantera (was so close as they were doing the tattoo the earth festival but pulled out because on 9/11) Black Sabbath Primus (Will they ever come to the UK!) Pink Floyd (becoming quite a fan these days) Emperor (But if i save up that could change as i will be going to Wacken) Atheist (same...

    Black Rose Immortal

Great song, would be interesting to see them play that one sometime in the future. I remember someone saying (Maybe Mike?) that they have played it a few times in the early days but i guess they would like to concentrate on the fresh and new material, something i dont blame them for.
