    How paranoid are you about your own music?

    Just register the scores at the intellectual property office (or equivalent in your country). Costs is almost nothing, but it may take a couple of months to verify you´re not copying anyone else. It won´t stop anyone from copying your riffing, but if they make money out of it you can sue :)

    Thanks, skeskis. I got the hardware part covered: laptop + audio interface + drum VSTi and all that. I was thinking if drum processing should be any different for live use, and well... it seems the answer is no :)

    For thin you cannot go wrong with an Ibanez S Prestige. For fast... well, I guess that depends on your fingers :)
