Maxon OD808 is the best I've used. I've tried the TS9 and Bad Monkey also. The Bad Monkey can achieve awesome tones and is better than most expensive units. I'd go Maxon if you have extra money, BM if you are on a budget and want awesome tone.

I have one and there is no ringing from the Krank grill like on the old Mesa. If I recall, they built the grill with that in mind.

They used the Krank Revolutions w/ matching cabs when I saw them last year. They sounded exactly like the CD.

It's the rack version of the Mesa Dual Rectifier. Paul, the one who writes everything, has been using it forever. The other guitarist, Dusty, is only endorsed by Krank (which he didn't even play at New England Metal Fest).

The tone doesn't sound bad from the vid. Is he plugged in to the ENGL? It is sort of blurry to tell.

I talked to one of the guys in Vehemence on AIM before and he mentioned that he had a PODxt. I was wondering if you could upload the tone(s) or maybe just type out your settings you use on it? Anyone else have any cool patches?
