Does anyone here use the new Logic?

Logic's interface beats Pro Tools any day of the week. Both are very good programs but I find Logic to be more accessible with the same amount of (if not more) functionality than pro tools.

    Check this band out

From a comment: "This kind of music, it's called queercore. And we understand that other people don't like it. It's not for everyone. But you know what? The point of it is to show that gay is okay. Which it is, and if you think it's not, then there is something seriously wrong with you." -...

    My "final" drum mix?

Sounds decent on its own, humanization of the midi notes could take the actual performance a long way in making it sound more realistic. However there's no point in listening to and critiquing the drums by themselves, because there's no context - you could have a totally killer drum sound but it...

Drum Mix (Real Drums) - In desperate need of feedback/advice

exactly this. no point in listening to one element without the rest of the context

Heaviest song I have ever made.

I feel like the guitar tone could benefit from some external cab simulation or re-amping, the tone itself sounds very flat and 'digital' in a way. It lacks mid-area warmth on my monitors and is very "joey", nothing really special about it. Cab simulation or physical re-amping could help give...

What do you guys think of this bass, (real bass)

The tone itself is okay but listening to the bass track alone is pointless. Get it behind some guitars first and mix from there.

    New chango stuff!

Just FYI, you can't drop a sample into SSD4 and expect it to work the same way as SSD - the VI will only load that one sample you drop in, and you cannot load any other kind of multisampled instrument so it's pretty much pointless unless you're going for an 80's electronic drum kit sound or...

    New chango stuff!

Not gonna lie, a lot of these tones seem really weak on my monitors, like they'd need a LOT of processing to get them anywhere near usable. Naturally any tone takes tweaking to get it right but some of these seem really weak as starting points.

New shit ! tell me what you guys think!

I'm guessing its the "texas grind" virtual instrument bass

    Cool atmospheric/cinematic intro i made

overall I think the percussion elements are just a bit too loud and 'upfront', it tends to detract from all of the other elements of the mix.

    Advice for a guitar tone

+1, you need to show us some work before we can try to help you. there's a whole lot that goes into the kind of tone you want and can't exactly be covered with 'tips' alone.

New shit ! tell me what you guys think!

Some things that stick out to me: the snare sounds a bit too loud and artificial & the toms could use some more warmth and less click, they tend to come across as high-end snaps - the guitars sound good but could use some work to get them away from that pod farm scratchiness, using some external...
