I recently did the very same (released my solo instrumental project). It's very hard these days promoting your stuff even though there are tons of possibilities due to social media etc. The main problem is to be seen in the first place because there are so many bands. What in my case helped...

Sure: Guitars are mostly my Ibanez JCustom and my Evertune equipped Skervesen Raptor, both with Bareknuckle Aftermaths. I used the X30 Model from the TSE X50 suite as my main amp model both for rhythms and leads (but with different settings). Impulses are a combination of two, I can't remember...

Hey all I finally managed to release the debut album of my instrumental metal project "Nahtram" last week. It's a one-man-band basically and I did almost everything on my own but I had the pleasure to get Ermz on the boat for mastering! You can listen to the whole album on bandcamp or youtube...

I'm absolutely with you. But to be honest, I'm not even up to date regarding the current stuff. It just bores me to death so I stay away from it.

Somebody was kind enough to put the samples from their documentary videos together: It sounds really great in my opinion.

I'm just gonna put my thoughts on this here, or how I understood all the things: I understood it the way that he never felt really comfortable doing guitars and vocals both live. Also I think he had/have back problems and thinks maybe this gets better if he has the freedom to move on stage...

Dunno, I thought the reasons for not playing guitar live anymore (still playing guitar in the studio) were understandable.

Put on hold until they have the resources to finish it. Forest Seasons was an easier album to make so they finished this first. I guess also to satisfy Nuclear Blast regarding their contract.
