how about screenshot detailed signal chains for guitars, bass and kick ? :) it would help a lot to us all and its no hassle to you since we pose no threat to your mixing skills :)

love that lo-fi sound but HATE HATE HATE that snare, try to raise 8k and clean up lower freqs, get rid of boxyness and i would probably turn the body of snare (100-200hz) down a db or two. Oh and more compression on snare.

do you eq and compress every bass track individually or leave most of the processing work for bass bus ? also what problems do you tackle on individual tracks and what problems do you adress on bus processing ? thanks :)

i like spacey hi hat and all around swoooshy cymbal presence, but yeah, maybe HCL could give some info on bass guitar. Anyways i listen this kind of downtuned mosh hardcore/metalcore and mix fits perfectly to genre and could easily pass as 5k $ mixjob.

less 8khz on kick and turn volume around -3db. also snare less volume and different sample cuz this dont work. guitars and bass A++ (y). You have compressor on 2buss ?

HCL loving that track. So you basically set up 8505 to contain most of the lows but less of mids and aded lecto wit pronounced mids ? Must say im loving the idea. please elaborate the whole proccess a bit more in-depth. Im sure more people, including me, would like to hear about it.

Ach so ! i really wanted to know what sample is this and now i know. Did you pitch shifted it up or down ? Im gonna acquire EZX metal machine simply because of that snare sound. It sounds really pro and to the modern metal production standards !

i would be also interested in raw tracks because i think i can help you with a mix.

maybe some sub frequencies muddying up a mix ? i did infuse both kick and bas track with subs via waves CLA pack. would like to hear more thoughts about that.
