I came up with the exact same thechnique as I did'nt like how the parts were coming togheter when recorded one after another.

I've seen this trick ( and tried it) where the very top end is low passed as it reflects old school gear where we could not record information passed something like 16-17Khz. I don't remember if it was the tape or mixing desk that this technique was reflecting though. But it does sounds smoother...

Nice sound ! You could try to pass everything in the same comp or EQ or disto plugin or all of those (stereo output) kind of a little mastering see what it gives you it could blend the vocal in. Better to do this before the mastering IMO.The vocal does sound a little bit apart but it's not that...

Wasnt aware of this way of doing it in Reaper Uros thanks! I also enjoy Reaper a lot my Logic is taking some dust. It was with Reagate that did'nt work that well for me.

I recently tried audio to midi on a few kik tracks with Melodyne it worked great. I prefered it to Logic's way...less clicks. I also tried with Reaper but the audio to midi (using a midi triggering plugin cant remember the name) beahaves weirdly did'nt really like it maybe I did something wrong.
