    Top 10 - 2007 Albums

Well, many of my Christmas presents consist of albums from 2007, so I am nowhere near done with this year, so I can't quite make this list. In fact, I've probably only heard half of what I am set to hear. So, allow me to try this out: Albums that I've heard from 2007 that will definitely be on...

    Happy Birthday Platypus Jesus!?

So sorry, Derick. I saw your message, but I was so busy on that day that I wasn't able to give a response or leave a post on this beautiful forum. How exciting it is to see that I am remembered, though, and have no doubts, Cara, I still cry on my porch. I rarely see it these days, but every time...

    Hey guys, America sucks.

With a cute, big ol' clown nose on his face. I'm thinking about starting up a Jesus the Clown business for children's parties. The disappearing nail trick gets them every time. And you should see their faces when I use the hole in my hand to drain meat.

    Hey guys, America sucks.

Guys, guys, stop fighting. There's not much of an argument anyway. Jesus died for our country.

Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet

Well, if we are talking about an album being their peak, I'd have to say that it is Stupid Dream, but I just consider that set of albums to be Porcupine Tree at the top of their game, and then Deadwing as a huge downfall. I'm glad you agree with me on Deadwing. I was beginning to think I was the...

Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet

I still see the trio of Stupid Dream, Lightbulb Sun, and In Absentia as their peak. Signify is also up there, since it takes their earlier, Pink Floyd material and makes it their own instead of a direct copy. As for Deadwing, besides Shallow and Lazarus, I wasn't really bothered by the more...

Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet

Honestly, I'm shocked. I just listened to it, and I expected to find an apology for Deadwing in the booklet. This is precisely what that album should have been: good. Definitely not their best, but a huge step up from Deadwing.

    favorite album for 07'

In terms of Industrial, I much prefer Foetus over Nine Inch Nails, though I do hear Year Zero is a big step up from With Teeth. Which is good to hear, since I have only really cared for Pretty Hate Machine and Downward Spiral to begin with.

    Current 10/10 albums

Yeah, I was really questioning whether to include Ulver at all, really, since I don't like their Black Metal sound, the folk is enjoyable and relaxing but not much more, and their electronic direction has proven to be more influenced than influential, but I just love Perdition City so much that...

    Current 10/10 albums

There can only be three 10/10 albums out of like...ten billion in existence? That's absurd. It's not like I was picking from one genre of music, but I was taking from all of them. For there to only be three is absolutely absurd.

    Zodiac

The trailer for the Number 23 made it look like such shit. I was perfectly fine with the storyline, besides its ridiculous stupidity, until they started connecting the number 23 with the mark of the beast. That was when I knew that nothing good could possibly come out of the movie.
