Haven't checked this thread in like a year, glad to see it's stil going. I definitely agree that Internal Bleeding was one of the first "slam" bands, but Devourment perfected it and made it what it is today. I always find myself going back to them, and still think there are really no bands...

I wish NY still had good brutal slam bands. The last ones were old Pyrexia, old IB, Dehumanized and Repudilation.

I am definitely gonna stick around this thread to check out new stuff. I'm just very picky with what I listen to (especially death metal in all forms) so I may not be into most but I will give it a try. This and the Slam Minded blog helped alot.

The Slam-Minded blog rules. Been going through a lot of bands on there. Like most forms of metal tho, some are boring, some are ok and some rule. Inveracity RULE!
