Now that is some f#cked up noise. Incidentally I am not experiencing any guitar signal noise in between the riffs, must be because I'm on Windows ME and maxed out on 4gb video ram.

I have a quick fix for the noise people are experiencing... STFU :rock: oh, and I'm having a lot of fun mixing this... thanks for setting this up for the contest or otherwise, as I'm learning a great deal.

I'm using Ableton Live, and I found that all but one DI were 120 bpm matching the backing track. The 'GTR C DI.wav' came in at 125.03 bpm and set the master tempo to that, thus throwing off all the others as I pulled them in order. I'll try again with the above suggestions on shifting just...

Edit: Scratch that... I loaded the DI's in my DAW and not only do they not line up, but they appear to have different timings (as if one is stretched and some are squashed shorter than the backing track). Am I alone on this?

Maybe it was done on purpose to pose an additional challenge? :lol: At least there is a guide track to reference.
