Stefan Norgren's 'one man metal band' version of Pharrell's "Happy"

Very nice Stefan! One of the riffs is Wherever I May Roam (Metallica).

    In-depth interview about songwriting

Thanks Andreas. Your responses sounded similar to those I've heard from Neil Peart regarding taking the utmost care in creating a finished product that is thoroughly thought out and worked through....which is one reason there's not a ton of improvising done in Rush concerts (plus the fact the...

For which song(s) should Andreas do a 'video break down'?

Break the Silence Hide and Seek

Live DVD/CD "Welcome to Atlanta" is out now!

Andreas, This is the best news ever! Would be cool to have a full production like "The Wall" with video and set acting pieces (I doubt it as this is just a one off), but even if it is just you guys playing the music, it's more than awesome. Here's hoping Jenny can make it too!

    Become re-recorded with Tommy vocals?

There is a version of In the Blink of an Eye on YouTube with Tommy singing. Is this song available for purchase (and did Tommy re-do the rest of the album too)? I like ITBOAE and it's even better with Tommy! Thanks

    Your favorite SW-moment/memory...?

While I think MF is SW's best album, if I had to pick one moment, I'd say The Aftermath section of TGE is my fav.

Mercy Falls - Alternate version or defective CD?

I decided to check on this again and I happy to report that the extraneous noises have been removed from the Rhapsody stream.

    Just a little 'hello'....

Dear Andreas, Here are a few of my thoughts: From a recording standpoint, I'd like the recording to be closer to the "wet" sound of WITW or MF. TGE sounds awesome but borders on being a little too dry. Johnny played lots of double bass but knew when to show restraint...I hope Stefan...

Question for band regarding length of MF

As I stated in another thread, I think MF is close to a perfect album. I have read that it was difficult to complete (understandable considering its complexity), and I was wondering how the CD's running time affected the final product. At just over 74 minutes, it is right up against the...

Mercy Falls - Alternate version or defective CD?

I just received my replacement CD, and it is perfect. No extraneous sounds, and correct timing/transition between tracks. MF has found a spot on my list of desert-island discs, along with such landmarks as The Wall and Hemispheres. I'd like to give a heartfelt thank-you to the band for...

Sorry, changed to "public" -- let me know if you can see now. Thanks!

Mercy Falls - Alternate version or defective CD?

Hi Xandra, Thanks for confirming. I will contact Amazon for an exchange. By the way, here is a quick one-minute clip of what I was talking about regarding the strange audio snippets when I play this album through Rhapsody. Check out 0:14, 0:41, and 0:49. Weird! Never had this happen on...

Mercy Falls - Alternate version or defective CD?

Hello, first time poster here... After being a fan of Dream Theater and Circus Maximus for many years, I only recently discovered Seventh Wonder, and I am blown away by the band. All I can say is that I agree with another reviewer who stated that in a better world, this group would be huge...
