The "Transfer Tickets" function in the Ticketmaster interface is disabled for the ProgPower Fri/Sat tickets - @Harvester is that something you have control over or is it a venue decision? I bought tickets for a few friends and can just email them the PDFs, but I was curious if there was any way...

I always just assumed they constructed their setlists due to the composition of their fanbase, so I'm not surprised to hear a bandmember confirm that. Deeper cuts would be awesome but I don't expect them to leave 95% of the crowd looking around in confusion for the few of us who would go nuts...

Psychotic Waltz would be an awesome replacement. Prog replaces prog - albeit different substyles - and I'm sure there's a good chunk of the ProgPower fanbase that would be stoked to see them (or I'd hope so, anyway).

That wouldn't be my first complaint. Number one would be that Jari still isn't adept at production/mixing - especially drums - and that he's continuing to shoot himself in the foot by trying to wear too many hats. I know he's a control freak and wants to bring his vision to life, but even just...

They were killer at the San Diego Metal Swap Meet in April, I hadn't seen them in something like thirteen years and was a bit surprised that they hadn't lost a step. I'd love to see them again at ProgPower next year.

The setlist is available on setlist.fm...suffice to say, fans who prefer the first two albums will not be as excited about the DVD.

2016 has been a banner year for melodeath, albeit not entirely in the narrower Gothenburg sound. Insomnium's "Winter's Gate" is my album of the year and Be'Lakor, Witherscape, and Omnium Gatherum are all in my top ten. Whispered, Countless Skies, and Solution .45 also put out damn good albums...

Unless Tate's lawyers are complete shitbricks - which they probably aren't - they rendered that line of thinking moot by also ensuring that Queensryche can't advertise anything resembling an Operation Mindcrime set, even if they chopped intros/interludes - and honestly, a large part of why bands...

Bummed to have this happen, so shitty to have such a key issue be totally outside Glenn/Nathan/Milton's control, especially since you've worked so hard to deal with the visa process and do everything in your power to avoid these issues. I suspect there will be a chapter in Glenn's eventual book...
