saw Saxon about a year or so ago with Halcyon Way...they absolutely kicked ass live after all these years! If you are even a remote fan they are not to be missed. Fans of old know what I am talking about!

His album AFTER is a must...I would start there.

Howe era = Human Factor the best imo...BID a very close 2nd although it has my favorite song of theirs (Badlands), HITB is indeed hit and miss.

Seen 'em once a few years back at the Empty Bottle in Chicago. Now they are coming to GR with Bang and BC? Oh yeah, this is a no-brainer!

^^^you need to revisit then. They are all good, but post Eye I would recommend Voodoo, Abigail 2, and Give Me Your Soul Please as highlights. Don't compare Abigail 2 to the first one though when listening...take it as a separate album because although very good it doesn't come close to Abigail...

I will be at their Chicago show tomorrow night. Long time fan - first time seeing them live. Cannot wait!
