Your cymbals are really quiet and dark, and it's making everything sound dull. Snare sounds too sharp, needs some thickening.

Everything else sounds phenomenal but there's something about the mix on the harsh vocals. Too dry maybe, they stick out.

My quick take, style is a bit out of my comfort zone so I decided to give it a try.

There's some sharp sibilance on the vocals that needs to be fixed with a de-esser.

You could try automating your pans, overheads and lead guitars really open wide for choruses and narrow for verses.

If you're in need of getting something special done with saturation check out Fabfilter Saturn. One of my favorite plugins, and great for creating sheen, pop whathaveyou.

The vocalist is a bit sibilant on the first sample, makes it sound like she has a lisp. Cymbals have a bit too much >10kHz, makes them sound thin. Bass guitar maybe could use more low mids to make it audible better. These are all for the Actions song.

:p Yeah I didn't really spend a whole lot of time on the mix. If it was a real client I'd have tweaked it a lot longer than an afternoon. I just slapped something on the vocs with zero tweaking. Normally I'd have automated the delays and other vocal effects to sit better, now it's just the same...

Neat track. I needed a break from 3D modeling so I did this. And made a (bad) 3D model of a crown for it. :D Went all 90's and added some chorus on the bass guitar on the second verse.

It's really bright and brittle. Reduce the harshness on the guitars at 5k. Snare is too trebly, I'd up some 200Hz to give it body. Reduce the verb on it. I think the bass guitar could work like that if you let the kick take the sub 100Hz lows. Some great free VST's for getting clean loudness...

Sounds pretty cool to me. The transients on the snare sound a bit sharp so you could back them off a bit with a transient designer, for example Flux Bittersweet.

Just made this. Nice drum sound. From the video you posted looks like 421's for the toms?

These are programmed drums right? What I've noticed when mixing this type of sound that has a real drummer they're usually constantly either a 16th note ahead or behind. So you could experiment with that, move the midi just slightly off to get a more realistic feel. Now it sounds a bit robotic.
