Hey Redline, do these IRs have an imprinted poweramp response curve due to recording them through a guitar head poweramp section like some guys do over here? Or did you use a flat response curve poweramp to drive the speaker? greets

engl sounds weird, narrow and doesn't fit to the drums. and sounds not more brutal in my ears. go with the diezel or try something different cab/EQ wise with the engl because i woudn't say that it's amp but cab/IR/EQ or whatever related.

For a long time i had really thick strings (54 on drop C) to keep them more in tune while hitting them hard. i had a pick with a slightly rounded tip and my pickups were as close as possible to the strings. Before watching i expected it to be 5153 > 2203 > 6505. After watching it was 6505 > 2203 > 5153 :D You didn't try to get similar tones, right? Or are the snippets not from the same "session" and mic placement is not the same? 5153 is here way too bass pronounced.
