Ur kick is messing up ur mix..theres parts where it hits and everything drops. also your guitar tones are really thin and bright and really dirty. What did you do for mastering? sounds like its clipping

Saw it on one of the mixing practice threads and mainly wanted to mix it because it had real drums recorded. I like how the drums sound..but i had to do a lot of automation on the vocals. They sound good in some spots, but then gets lost in others. I definitely notice they're too loud in some...

Yeah i always struggle when it comes to that specific snare sample. It always comes out too thin for my liking.

If you didn't like the DI Sound, why couldnt you EQ it before you ran it through an amp sim? That helps me sometimes.
